Stuart Amos, this years Portugal Tour and Summer Crowhurst Celebration winner, grabs his third major of 2017 in a magnificent display of glof eeerr….  golf,  when, on Monday 18th Sept he triumphantly won the 2017 Bridlington Admirals Cup.

In a 54 hole grueling battle over some of the nastiest pubs in Bridlington  and over 3 magnificent golf courses, the mighty Biffa Amos won through over the biggest field to date.

“It was not easy” says the plucky champ. “I had to keep my nose ahead of a very talented field, the abuse and violent behavior was unnecessary but the others got used to it in the end !”

In second place by just 1 shot was Mick Rushal:

“1 bloody shot, I ask you 1 shot, a putt a bloody chip I can’t believe it !!”

And a gallant third, beaten on count back the famous outdoors man Boze Grills:

“The conditions were far to favorable for my liking, no wind , no rain ,

Can stop me, babe.

And as Diana Ross my Caddy says

“If you wanna go I know, I know you must follow the sun
Wherever it leads
But remember
Ain’t no mountain high enough
Ain’t no valley low enough
Ain’t no river wild enough “

That’ s enough now Diana !

Good Grief !!”

In last place the defending champion Clive “Hoppy” Dearsley summed up the prestigious event,

“It was a Golf Tournament of that there is no doubt, was there golf involved ? Very little as far as I can see.”
