Portugal 2023 – Delinquents Triumph in Historic Win !

Delinquents newly appointed Captain, Biffa Amos, was in ebullient mood as it became clear that his 2023 Delinquents Team would easily win this years Concessionaires Cup.

The Delinquents have not even come close to victory over the past 5 years and previous Captain Chilly Entwistle resigned in a fit of peak in 2022.

Captain Biffa has transformed the Delinquents Team this year with a new slogan “Try and hit the ball straight !” and a new training regime which included standing up for 2 or 3 minutes without a rest and “leaning on the bar” whilst drinking Super Bock.

Both obviously made the difference as this Victory confirms.

Biffa spoke to the waiting fans:

” I told you we would win, the Team were on fine form and as predicted the old fellas couldn’t cope with the pressure !”

MK Seve , the Concessionaires Captain over the past 9 years was magnanimous in defeat :

” I don’t know what magnanimous means but up yours Delinquents, bloody kids. Next year , next year pal !!!”

Security guards were called and the whole press conference ended reasonably peacefully.
