At a socially distancing, but nevertheless packed, news conference today MK  Seve ,SEVEBET CEO, announced that the 2020 Crowhurst Trophy will be played at Rugby Golf Club this year.

 

“It gives me great pleasure to reveal that the venue for The Crowhurst will be his own home club , Rugby Golf Club.” were MK Seve’s opening remarks.

 

“We thank Paul Monty Monty, so good they named him twice, for negotiating a sparkling arrangement with the club management.

There will be up to 20 places this year and we look forward to some of the big names in golf returning to contest this magnificent trophy.”

 

“On a less happy note I have to also announce that Big “K” Shorrocks will not be present this year to defend the crown he won in 2019.

 

Big “K” was with me at our morning briefing and he told me that he will be having some Bionically Cosmetic Enhancements later in the summer at his country retreat.

 

I am pleased to add that he will be attending the presentation after the event, so we look forward to the return of his influential presence.”

 

Hoppy Dearsley, Universal Events Director, added some detail:

“There will be up to 20 players this year with the first Tee time at 12.00 midday.

Entry Fee including green fees will be £25.00 including the usual massive cash and sort after prizes.
